Founder of CJP Abhijeet Dipke has accused the Delhi Police of harassment, mental torture, and denying him access to legal counsel following his detention in New Delhi. The detention occurred as he sought to question authorities regarding permission for public protests against the administration. Following the incident, Mr. Dipke vowed to continue his ongoing protests despite the actions taken by law enforcement.
The developments followed an operation where Mr. Dipke and fellow CJP leaders Ashutosh Ranka and Saurav Das were detained by the Delhi Police. A Delhi special court subsequently ordered the release of the three CJP leaders twenty-four hours after their detention, conditional upon maintaining no breach of peace for a duration of one year.
Concurrently, family members of Mr. Dipke raised serious concerns regarding administrative delays in executing the release orders. The family stated that the delay by Delhi Police directly resulted in Mr. Dipke missing his grandmother's funeral. Mr. Dipke maintained that his peaceful demonstrations regarding administrative permissions will persist.
