The incident involved a crowd estimated by authorities to consist of 60 to 70 individuals at the specific site, while broader reporting noted larger demonstrations in the capital involving approximately 1,000 protesters. Officials confirmed that stone pelting occurred during the course of the police action, resulting in minor injuries to personnel on the ground.
