Prominent figures in Jammu and Kashmir have strongly criticized the recent behavior and language of an IAS officer, demanding formal accountability and administrative review. The reactions follow an incident involving unparliamentary language and conduct that drew sharp rebukes from across the political spectrum in the region.

Farooq Abdullah, Chief of the Jammu & Kashmir National Conference, stated that the officer's actions were entirely inappropriate. Abdullah said, Usne jo kalam istemaal kiya, woh bahut galat tha, adding that the official should be reprimanded for lacking the demeanor expected of a public servant.

Altaf Thakur also weighed in on the controversy, condemning the administrative conduct displayed by the official. Thakur noted that public officers must maintain professional standards while interacting with citizens and executing their official duties across the union territory.

Iqbal Trumboo echoed these concerns, calling for strict administrative oversight and corrective measures to ensure accountability. The leaders emphasized that such incidents undermine public trust in local governance and administrative institutions.
