Several opposition leaders expressed concerns regarding the Election Commission and the removal of names from electoral rolls during recent statements to the press. The group of leaders criticizing the process includes Bhupesh Baghel, D. Raja, Pramod Tiwari, Imran Masood, Sanjay Raut, and Saurabh Bharadwaj. The remarks highlight ongoing political tensions surrounding voter registration procedures and administrative oversight by election authorities.

Bhupesh Baghel stated that if this collective voice of 14 parties is not formed and if Rahul Gandhi does not visit the Election Commission and Jantar Mantar, public concerns will remain unaddressed. The leaders emphasized that voter list revisions require immediate scrutiny to protect democratic participation. The criticisms center on administrative actions affecting electoral rolls across various jurisdictions.

D. Raja and Sanjay Raut reinforced the collective stance of the opposition parties regarding institutional integrity. Pramod Tiwari, Imran Masood, and Saurabh Bharadwaj also detailed specific grievances related to voter registration lists. The leaders called for greater transparency from election authorities in managing electoral rolls and addressing discrepancies reported by citizens.
