AIMIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi has criticised the ruling BJP government's reaction to recent comments made by technology executive Elon Musk regarding Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The remarks regarding the Indian leadership have sparked a sharp political response from opposition figures regarding national sovereignty and external commentary.
Addressing the remarks directly, Owaisi questioned how an external figure could make such assertions concerning the head of the Indian government. He stated that while his party maintains continuous political opposition to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, external commentary on the office of the Prime Minister remains unacceptable to national dignity.
The AIMIM leader further emphasised that political opposition within the domestic sphere does not equate to accepting outside remarks about the nation's leadership. He maintained that political disagreements with the Prime Minister and the ruling administration are strictly internal matters for the electorate and opposition parties to contest through constitutional means.
The statements also touched upon broader political developments and electoral alliances within Uttar Pradesh as parties prepare for upcoming political engagements. Owaisi outlined his party's stance on regional governance issues and ongoing political alignments across several states in the country.
